Scratch built body and motor question
The kids and I have a few more scratch built rocket designs in mind. Most are b,c,and d size motors. Just wondering, what is the longest body tube size that I can utilize and still have a reliable ejection charge push the chute and wadding out? Thanks rick

Anyone doing anything with Rocket Motors besides fly them?
Just brainstorming but I was wondering if anyone was (for example) Drag Racing or Speed Boating, maybe even the opposite of striving for hight; Deep Water Depth Challenge. How would someone shoot a 'rocket' straight down into the water and have it 'breath' and not go out? How would you know just how far it... more »

Model rocketry tips and techniques?

If so, post it, and let's see if we can make RMR useful again. To start off, here's an idea I haven't seen elsewhere. The narrowest roll of masking tape I've seen is 3/4 inch, but sometimes you need it... more »

Blast From The Past Rocketry .COM recovered!
Well, I received an email - followed it up - paid a fraction of what I would have years ago when I lost it - and got the domain back. Let me survive Plaster Blaster 8, then figure out what the heck I' m gonna do. Mike (Sparky7) Jerauld blastfromthepastrocketry.com (Hell yeah!)

First video rocket
Flew this last weekend at the oct monthly Tripoli North Branch MN launch. However the shock cord got stuck on the chute harness causing a small(but repairable) zipper. All in all I'm happy with the results. Vidcam was a hacked CVS disposable unit. [link]... more »

Propellant Rocket Engineering book
Sorry to bother you guys here but Parish's 45 pager on Liquid Propellant Rocket Engineering is back on ebay, this time starting at 0.99c. That's eBay-OZ but should be visible (and an easy air-mail) to US or UK. We are talking 1954 but there maybe a few nuggets in there. (I wouldn't know one if it bit me on the arse - rockets=Nov 5th to... more »
