just got back from a bike poker run and saw the first bald eagle this fall over down by the river
they usually follow the geese and ducks thru here, taking out the injured or sick ones, but this one is well ahead of them.not uncommon to see a dozen or so in the trees by the water when the flocks come thru.
i'll give you whackos a helping hand and suggest it's probably some global warming thing.

I did that once and my third shot from the fairway I thought I went off the back. Nope hell of a roll and plunk. I was looking off the back and the guy i was golfing with joked "Did you check the hole?" There is was.
Same as when i was there for my Mom's first hole in one. she thought it went off the back and I joked "Did you check the hole?" using the other guys line and sure enough there it was.
