Subject: TUFU Road Tires

Anyone who has had experience with TUFO road tires, I'd like to know
about your experience. What model(s) did you use? How well did they
ride? How durable were they? How puncture resistant?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Usually they go with a variety of dishes, mostly asian.  Soy sauce is a good
addition to any of the many types: firm, soft, fried, etc.  Oh, you meant
"Tufo."  Whoops.

after about 300 miles.

I'm riding on a Barum brand tubular tire.  Barum was the predecessor of
Tufo, I believe made in the same Czech factory as my tire.  Anyway my tire
is from 1977.  I picked it up in a yard sale 3 years ago with a rack of
other old tubulars including Clement Strada 66's and Seta's.

I've been commuting to work on these tires every day since.

It is on the front wheel, so it suffers much less than it would if it were
on the rear.  Still, impressive that it has a few '000 miles on it, with no
sign of dying.  No flats yet either.
