It has been pointed out to me that "restored to life" could be taken to
imply that a genuine resurrection must have taken place, despite my use
of the phrase "believed dead".

I am therefore changing the wording of this question, in accordance
with rule 3.1 as follows:

1. Name a character who at some time is believed dead by at least one
other character, but who is later seen to be alive (but not necessarily
in perfect health). "Later" should be taken to mean later in this
character's personal timeline.

I do not believe that this affects any answers to this question
submitted already.

Cheers

Tom
