  My plan was to get the car through IVA and bedded in for a few months &lt;br&gt; before upgrading, I also am not yet sure what to go for so I would &lt;br&gt; expect at least 6 months give or take a car show or two.   Had a look at some twin 45&#39;s online - Nice idea, and I think would &lt;br&gt; work but I was hoping for a more modest solution for a temporary &lt;br&gt; engine. (my Xmas present quota dropped when I brought the kit last &lt;br&gt; year!) Don&#39;t have a problem with exhaust- gets out of the chassis OK. &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;I have never run a engine without a filter apart from in a garage,

  Certainly the original wiring has a far thicker insulation sleeve but &lt;br&gt; the thing with the one now fitted is that there were two Black/White &lt;br&gt; wires and not one coming out of the newer switch and even though I &lt;br&gt; have connected them together they are not as thick a combined core as &lt;br&gt; the original wiring and also, on the car that it came from only one of

  None of the Mk2&#39;s had relays for any lights except the front spots. &lt;br&gt; What you&#39;ve got is an earlier loom with thick wall insulated wires and a &lt;br&gt; later loom with the thin wall wires. &lt;br&gt; The later wiring has thinner insulation which makes the loom smaller and &lt;br&gt; less bulky. &lt;br&gt; The actual copper conductors should be the same size.

  Didn&#39;t replace the connectors the first time round but have to this &lt;br&gt; time as it is melted. &lt;br&gt; Collected a second hand switch from a breakers along with the &lt;br&gt; connector and about a foot of wiring. I think it is a later model &lt;br&gt; Fiesta as the Black/White wire is single on the original car and two &lt;br&gt; smaller wires on the new switch/connector, one went to the dip/main

  So the bracket is no longer attached to the bodyshell and the nut and &lt;br&gt; bolt that hold the axle to the bracket are off? If so, the bracket &lt;br&gt; should be removable from the axle, but as the bracket might well have &lt;br&gt; been attached to the axle for over 15 years it might need a bit of &lt;br&gt; help, i.e. some some of lever.
