  <title type="text">Propalms Servers working fine but show server status offline</title>

  Hey all, &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;I&#39;m trying to work out how propalms handles its checks to see if &lt;br&gt; servers and roles are running. &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;I&#39;ve got servers in a farm which have decided to report themselves as &lt;br&gt; offline but work perfectly fine, so I am assuming its permissions to &lt;br&gt; update role status somewhere. &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;anyone know where I should start looking before I get annoyed enough

  Try to change how the application launches.. Go to Manage | Connection &lt;br&gt; Settings. Change the display to full screen instead of what it is now. &lt;br&gt; That is where your clients are getting the display size from. I would &lt;br&gt; start there..

  We have a couple of users here running at a higher display,1280x1024. &lt;br&gt; When they work within an application and then minimize it they are &lt;br&gt; getting a double set of scrollbars on the right side and the bottom.   Kris - Sorry it toook me so long to reply. Was on vacation for a week. &lt;br&gt; I assume you tried rebooting the x64 server. I would probably just try &lt;br&gt; and remove the LB role off the 2008 server. Keep it on your main &lt;br&gt; server and let that handle that role for your test server. Usually &lt;br&gt; this error is directly related to problems with the LB role. So

  Massimo, &lt;br&gt; The best thing to do is change the Load Balancer options. If you open &lt;br&gt; the console and go to Options | Load Balancer, you will see that &lt;br&gt; Propalms is most likely basing its model upon unlimited Memory and &lt;br&gt; CPU. In your case, i would uncheck the CPU option and just leave it as &lt;br&gt; memory. That way, it doesnt matter how much CPU one server has over

While I try to use windows remote assistance, it &lt;br&gt; does not work all the time. And seeing where we only push 2-3 apps via &lt;br&gt; Propalms and most of my problems are windows based, this only work with a &lt;br&gt; 1/3 of the problems.

  Most of my users access Propalms at a remote office (permanently &lt;br&gt; connected via VPN) so I find it easier to use Dameware Remote Control &lt;br&gt; to take control of their desktops. The great thing about Dameware is &lt;br&gt; that as long as you have admin rights on the workstation, it installs &lt;br&gt; the client automatically.

  The Shadow feature works FANTASTIC, if you are an admin. I &lt;br&gt; had my PC setup to span both monitors for a while but that got really &lt;br&gt; messy and made the maximize button pretty worthless. I know I was &lt;br&gt; playing around with SplitView in our VMware VDI environment and that &lt;br&gt; worked pretty slick. Did not see it work that well with ProPalms.

  That is the issue I am working on now. It seems that the &amp;quot;default&amp;quot; printer &lt;br&gt; changes to the local printer on the server. But you cannot access your local &lt;br&gt; windows printer attached to the computer. &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;What you need is &amp;quot;hyperprint&amp;quot; installed on the app server (I am guessing). &lt;br&gt; This &amp;quot;printer&amp;quot; is installed on the 2003 ts server and not on the 2008

  Printer redirection is not working through PP6. There are no error &lt;br&gt; messages in the event logs. A rdp session to the terminal server will &lt;br&gt; redirect printers if it is specified in the MSTSC resources tab.
