I've been testing the Aztec script by dragging it into PhotoshopCS2.
Is this a valid way to test PostScipt?
I don't seem to be getting any of the data for 2D barcodes to render
this way. The symbol comes up with the bull's eye, but no data is
there, only white space. The 1D codes work fine.

Hi Ansen,
Unfortunately I do not have a copy of PhotoshopCS2 for testing, nor a instance of Windows on which to run it for that matter... Perhaps someone else on this list can be of more help?
Please can you send screenshots of both the output from Photoshop as well as the original EPS files that result in the output.
New info. If I open the .ps file with the default application on the
Mac, Preview, it will not only render correctly but will also let me
save as a pdf, which Photoshop will open with no problem. It renders
with som unwanted anti-aliasing in Preview, but I can disable that
when I open the resulting PDF in Photoshop.

Ansen,
My suspicion is that the PostScript VM in CS2 is tripping up on some code that is executed properly by GhostScript-based VMs.
This would especially seem to be the case because the image of the Aztec symbol that you sent off-list appears to have stopped short prior to calculating the mode and data layers, but the static components of the symbol appear to be fine.
I will try to grab some time on a graphics machine at work to see if I can validate this assumption and adjust the code as necessary.

You offer is appreciated. If I am unable to find a workstation with the software then I may call on you work assistance.
I can confirm that the other 2D symbologies also do not render
correctly when using Photoshop. As mentioned before, they do appear to
work when using Preview on the Mac.
