Subject: aztec - readerinit
Hi Terry

I analyzed Your code in barcode.ps (aztec scrap) and I'm not sure what
the readerinit means.
Can You explain this parameter in details (always 'false' inYour
code) ?

best regards
Robert

ps. I've never seen postscript language before .. It's smart-funny
stack language.
My brain is my debugger :) I translated Your code (aztec scrap)
to Delphi.
Speed about 10 lines /h (I have to use manuals).
      I'm sure : I've done many bugs - tests coming next... :)
Reverse _Polish_ Notation .. well .... I should have it in my
genes :)

Hi Robert,

"readerinit" refers to a special class of Aztec Code symbol that is
used for programming compatible barcode scanners. The message content
is specific to the particular hardware that you are programming, the
purpose being that the data encoded in such symbols is used to update
the device's scanning parameters and would not normally be presented
to the computer.

A user of BWIPP would generate such a symbol as described at the
bottom of the following post:

Hope this helps,

Tez
