OK. I've had this problem before ...

Look in the ERR.H item in the SYSCOM file. This gives the error
translations.

Error 3007 is 'No VOC record'.

So, looking back at your original post, you have defined a VOC entry -
but there is no dictionary component. This is a contribution to a discussion that has come and gone a few times in this group – Unicode support.
I have been working with Unicode UTF-8, and found some things that might be useful for those who want to use it. This applies to Windows, which is probably the most difficult environment, but the one that I am currently forced to work with.

 Hi Gary,
See the PICK.ML.CONV.MASK mode of the OPTION command for the solution.
If this happens it is because the panning command line feature may need to
repaint the line. Even if it is happening, I am surprised that you can see
it. Are you on a very slow connection?
Martin Phillips
Ladybridge Systems Ltd

Just installed 2.9.8 and noticed the following problems (do not know
if problems exist on previous releases)

(1) OCONV("3031234567","ML(###)### -####") results in ... 30)312-3456

(2) When telneting remotely (not localhost), when pressing <RETURN>
from TCL command line, the current line seems to 'clear' and then

That matches up with my memory of the CPU process hoggers I had. It
was a while back, so memory is hazy. Restarting QM would not get rid
of them, so a full reboot was needed.
Ashley Chapman

 Hi Eugene/Cedric,
I have responded off-list to Cedric on this problem. The qmlnxd process that
is consuming all the processor power is looping trying to wait on a
semaphore that doesn't belong to QM at all. We are investigating the
possibility of a timing glitch that could cause a loop if QM is shutdown

Sockets provide a low-level pipe for moving data.
Protocols like Telnet, SMTP, HTTP, and FTP are designed to move
data over a socket in a specific way.
Web Services provide a general purpose pipe, usually according to
the SOAP specifications, so that you can move any kind of data
you want between departments, companies, applications, and

Glen has essentially described it. Most entities offer web services
in order to expose a part of their business system to third party use
and/or development.

For instance, you could have a regular web site that customers log
into so that they can review their order status by viewing pages in
