Accessing file on shaerd mapped drive (windows)

Hopefully just missing something obvious. Simply want QM to be able to
'see' (read/write) a file on a windows shared mapped drive. I have
tried all sorts of permutations of what I thought the following should
be to no avail ...

VOC entry ...

0001 F
0002 shared name (ie ... z:\ or \\computer\sharedname , etc...

I have two application that needs to be moved to a client's new 2008
server.

I searched the archives/etc and did not find any information related
to the recommened method of transfer.

My 1st confusion is where to install qmsys since the 2008 server will

This is my first post.......I am an OLD PICK guy....and we used PROC's
to create a menu....OpenQM would prefer that PROC's not be
used......so I used the MED tool to create my starting menu. Now I
don't know where to place the menu..... I need it to display

I have been working with Unicode UTF-8, and found some things that might be useful for those who want to use it. This applies to Windows, which is probably the most difficult environment, but the one that I am currently forced to work with.

Hi Martin,

@SELECTED returns the number of records returned from the last EXECUTE
(D) 'SELECT' or 'SSELECT' performed. However, "QSELECT' does not.
Universe ( also using @SELECTED ) does return the count from all three
operations as does D3 and Unidata ( when using SYSTEM(11) ).

Server load

Hello,

On a server, with less than 10 users, my server load stays at 1.00 all
the time. It seems that the qmlnxd is very heavy on the cpu. How can I
optimize that and avoid this server load ?

There is a AMD Athlon dual core 1900, with 1Go.

QMTerm on new Windows XP Home install

problem with my username so it seems unaware of my Windows account

connected directly to qm -AACCOUNT -12 for example using a bash login

Hi all,

I work with D3 VME on a daily basis and I have started experimenting
with the open source version of OpenQM.

On D3 I can run the following command from TCL:
COPY DOS:C: /transfer/somefile.txt

to copy a file from the Windows 'C' drive.

I have tried so many combinations with OpenQM, including:

Is there a way to use remote pointer between Qm and D3 easily ? is
there tools to make that work ?
Or should I just rely on intermediate files to exchange data between
two running systems ?
