Apparently a remote M$ server we send stuff to is choking and the solution
offered by our partner is to not send keep alive in the request.
I was sent some VB code that set up a proxy with this header set to false.
Ruby doco has been driving me completely barking for half a day - I think I
can tell the soap4r to use an HTTP proxy object, but can't work out how to
set up that object. In addition, all the examples pass the header into the
post as part of the request, which is of course a million layers deep and
protected inside the SOAP::RPC::Driver object..
All ideas gratefully received. I will even cough up on send a friend a
