Subject: SBS SP1 but SP2 already installed...

Hi, acquired a new site ( SBS 2003 ) and first thing I did was run SBSBPA
and it reported SP1 not installed.

Site only has 6 pcs and all seems to be running smoothly. I explained to
client that if something does break if SP1 not installed fixing could prove
to be very frustrating.

I did some investigation and I cant find the link that said ok to install
SP1 over SP2 however when tried to apply sp1 ( I have the SP1 3
disks...lol ) it said there is a newer sp applied.

I am not very confident to uninstall sp2, especially when all future updates
have been applied and the issues with sp2

Advices welcomed......

There's Windows 2003 SP1 and then there's SBS 2003 SP1 (which needs Win2003
SP1 or SP2 installed before it can be installed).

Windows 2003 SP2 can be used in place of Windows 2003 SP1 since it is a
"cumulative" service pack.  However, if the server has Windows 2003 SP1 or
SP2 installed but not SBS 2003 SP1, at some point it's going to get very
grumpy.

The tab where all our articles are stored has a new design. In each
article there is also the PDF stored. If you click on the PDF icon in
the above link a PDF will be downloaded to your computer for off line
