Subject: Network shares not accesible
Hi

sbs 2003 standard. We started getting this problem recently that network
shares would becomes unavailable to client PCs. We would restart server and
that would normally fix the problem . However this has now become permanent.
Under Active Directory Users & Computers I only see Saved Queries but not
the domain and its associated objects which leads me to believe somehow AD
has become fully or partially inaccessible.

I have run NetDiag & DCDiag and their results (errors only) are below;

C:\Program Files\Support Tools>netdiag

DC list test . . . . . . . . . . . : Failed
Failed to enumerate DCs by using the browser. [ERROR_FILE_NOT_FOUND]

C:\Program Files\Support Tools>dcdiag

      Starting test: systemlog
An Error Event occured.  EventID: 0xC0001B58
            Time Generated: 11/04/2009   13:22:14
(Event String could not be retrieved)
      [A numbe rof such errors]
         ......................... ED-SBS failed test systemlog

What can I do from here to fix this problem?

Many Thanks

Regards
