Modify it in IIS > Default Web Site properties. You will probably need
to modify your router settings to allow traffic on your new SSL port
and redirect accordingly.

I wouldn't recommend this because you have so many other things that are
linked to 443
on a SBS server. And when you need to run CEICW your IIS settings will be
messed again.
Sam is there any reason you aren't, or can't use the VPN ability in SBS?
And what VPN device is it that can't use another port?

Sam,
A better alternative would be to get a second IP address from your ISP and
use DNS to point a new A record (vpn.yourdomain.com) to that second IP and
put your SSL VPN device on that second IP.  If you have a firewall/VPN that
can host dual WAN connections, Watchguard Firebox for example, this is the
way to go.  If your firewall/VPN is one box and not able to do this then I
would reconsider using SSL VPN.  You will forever be fighting sbs if you
change the SSL port from anything than 443.  Additionally if you are using
Outlook RPC over SSL it will NOT work on anything other than port 443.

If you are bent on making this work then you have to make the changes in
IIS.  This varies from IIS 6 to IIS 7.  Which version of SBS are you
running?

Put the SSL VPN device on its own static address and take care of it that
way. Messing with SBS to change ports is going to HAUNT you.

SBS2003 Std !

I guess you lot would know better than I.

Actually, we had similar setup for over 2 years the last place but I the guy
looking after the server wasn't a people person!

We used Sharepoint 3, RWW, Outlook over the internet and OWA - uur CRM used
IIS / SQL - no problems what so ever.

My job was to look after CRM /  Accounts application and we didn't gell.

He kept Windows patch upto date every 4-6 weeks and the only problem we had
was IE8 which he removed and that was a week or so before I left. One
annoying thing was he did windows updates every 4-6 weeks at lunchtimes and
we didn't have anything more than a hours downtime.

The problem with SBS is if you go NON standard
And you need support
It will take them longer to fix simple tasks
and keeping billable hours down is best IMO

Example I had to set up VPN on a New Client and I can't remember the other
tasks
Basically this call should have taken 15-30mins

The Machine was soo messed up (FUBAR) that In order for me to get VPN to
work reliable
I'd have to re install the server. (It never did work.)
(Basically the Server was Disk 1 and Installed Exchange Manually.)
(permissions and groups All over the place, one person had EVERY Group Added
to them.)

K.I.S.S. Method of SBS is best :)
Reliable Dependable and supportable
