	Cursor reacts slow when picking website from Favorites

cookies disabled NOT

I am using XP and IE8 with no problems for months. Now suddenly when I try to log on Google.groups I get the following message. (your browser's cookie functionality is turned off.) They then suggest clearing cookies.
