Is there any way to associate an ACL with a specific alternate data stream in a file or must all streams inherit the ACL of the container file? msdn states that each stream has its own allocation size, actual size, and valid data length and also maintains its own state for compression, encryption, and sparseness.... more »

I have an issue that i am stck on. I have a file share and several hundered directories under the share. Hi! All, I have Windows Server 2003 R2 installed on a 300 gb HDD which has been mirrored. The server has 2 partitions C Drive is 50gb and D drive is 250 gb. Now I am running out of disk space on theC drive and would like to use the partition magic to shrink D Drive and extend the C Drive. Operating system Windows 2000 server Dynamic disk setup as Spanned Volume, Disk members of this volume are on a EMC AX100 box. After a power disclosure disks where not showing up , I did the procedure on EMC navisphere to set comunication port to port A as usual on this case.
