Subject: Error deploying Office 2007

Hello,

I have a problem installing Office 2007 (SP2) with sms 2003. I have exactly
the same problem on new installed PCs and on older ones with Office 2003
installed. The clinets are Windows XP Sp3.
first step is to uninstall all Office 2003 Components and a restart (that
works fine), after that Office 2007 setup starts. I get this Event Logs:

Event Type:     Error
Event Source:   SmsClient
Event Category: None
Event ID:       10006
Date:           02.10.2009
Time:           12:58:50
User:           N/A
Computer:       FRT1-VPC03
Description:
The program for advertisement "4322002B" failed ("43200015" -
"Office2007ProDE-EN"). A failure exit code of 30050 was returned.
User context: NT-AUTORITÄT\SYSTEM
Possible cause: Systems Management Server (SMS) determines status for each
program it executes. If SMS cannot find or correlate any installation status
Management Information Format (MIF) files for the program, it uses the
program's exit code to determine status. An exit code of 30050 is considered
a failure.
Solution: For more information on the exit code, refer to the documentation
for the program you are distributing.

The last few rows in the Office Setup Log are:
Loading package metadata:

Exception caught: MsiAPICallFailure.
PERF: TickCount=263328 Name=RunSetup Description=End function

After this error i restart the computer and start the installation in the
"Run advertised Programs" component of SMS again and it works.
(manual installation with the same command line works allways!

A functional Office 2007 installation log looks like this on the same
position in the log file:
Loading package metadata:
\\FRT1-SV08\SMSPKGC$\43200015\ProPlus.WW\ProPlusWW.xml
Display level basic specified in config.xml.
BRANDING: Parsing SkuredData...

Kicking off chained install...

I dont know what the problem is here? All I found in the web, was not
helpfull for me.
Can anyone help me please?

Thanks
Matthias
