MBSA 2.1.1
Microsoft Baseline Security Analyzer (MBSA) is an easy-to-use tool that helps small and medium businesses determine their security state in accordance with Microsoft security standards. Built on Microsoft Update technologies, MBSA ensures consistency with other Microsoft management products including Microsoft Update (MU), Windows Server Update Services (WSUS), Systems Management Server (SMS), System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) 2007, and Small Business Server (SBS). Used by many leading third party security vendors and security auditors, MBSA scans upwards of 3 million computers each week. Join the thousands of users that depend on MBSA to analyze their environments for security update compliance.

New Features in MBSA 2.1.1:
. Support for Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2
. Compatibility with latest version of the Windows Update Agent

Bugs fixed in MBSA 2.1.1:
. All files code signed for proper UAC and Vista/Win7 notifications
. Fixed reporting of superseded updates when updates were of different classifications
. Various fixes in MBSA GUI, Windows Firewall checks and other Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2-specific VA checks

Upgrade to MBSA 2.1.1 today!  If you have any questions regarding MBSA, feel free to post them here on the MBSA newsgroup at microsoft.public.security.baseline_analyzer.

Note: This is a minor revision (2.1.1), so the majority of TechNet and KB articles will still reference MBSA 2.1 as the most recent major/minor version.  Only the TechNet and Microsoft.com pages necessary to distinguish between 2.1 and 2.1.1 have been updated.
