There isn't one, at least on the WM6.5 devices I've seen. You need to get a
3rd party application such as Total Commander or Resco Registry -- the
former, IIRC, is free.

Hi all,
I have a project that builds against the 2003 Pocket PC SDK, and want
to use the "SHBrowseForFolder" functionality. However, my BROWSEINFO
structure is only using CHAR's and not TCHAR's for the
"pszDisplayName" and "lpszTitle" parameters. My project is using
Unicode.
Is here something I'm missing, or isn't there a Unicode version of the

I'm trying to automatically setup several email accounts using a
provisioning document and everything is working great execpt for 2
settings. I can't seem to find the proper parms for
"Use automatic send/receive schedule when roaming" and "When deleting
messages: Keep them on the server".
Can someone point me to the valuse to set to affect these 2 options.

Does anyone know how to create a user notification with a custom title? When
I call CeSetUserNotification (or CeSetUserNotificationEx), the dialog title
parameter is ignored, and always displayed as "Reminder | <time>"

Are you trying to use Active Sync with Windows Vista/7 ? Windows Mobile
Device Center 6.1 is the replacement for Active Sync 4.5 if you are running
Vista or later.

This is just freaky. I did a search to find out how to work on (customize) my inf file for creating a CAB, and I came across my own post as one of the top search results.
Maybe I should try a little harder to remember the answers!
Before I try too hard to look, does anyone (i.e. <ctacke/>) know how to go about creating a silent installer that can remove the previous version then launch itself?

I have installed cmf3.5 and sqlce 3.0 on a WM5.0 after un-installing
cmf2.0 from that device.
Then I installed a CMF2.0 application (Built using visual studio 2005)
on that device.

Hi all
When I used(use) Win XP file explorer to browse the Windows mobile
device (windows folder) thru active sync, its fast. When I am using a
Vista machine, the desktop explorer to browse the Windows Mobile
folder is attrociously (sorry to say) slow. The new devices (WM 6.1,
WM 6.5) take close 5 to 6 minutes just to expand the windows folder
