  Hi, &lt;br&gt; Is there any whitepaper or facts about SQL SErver Compact Edition 3.1 has &lt;br&gt; better performance than SQL SErver 2005 Mobile? &lt;br&gt; Currently I am using SQL Server 2005 Mobile and my database performance is &lt;br&gt; very very bad. I am looking for upgrading of db if performance is better. &lt;br&gt; Please advise before I make the upgrade.

  Hi, &lt;br&gt; 1) is there any difference between sql mobile 2008 and sql server compact &lt;br&gt; edition 3.5? are they referring to the same database engine? &lt;br&gt; 2) can i ONLY develop Mobile applications using SQL Mobile 2008/SQL Server &lt;br&gt; Compact Edition 3.5 using Visual Studio 2008? Can I use Visual Studio 2005 &lt;br&gt; instead?

  I work on WM6 and CF2.0 with C#. I loaded a DLL with following code: &lt;br&gt; Assembly tmp = Assembly.LoadFrom(file); &lt;br&gt; How can I unload the DLL? I can not find a &amp;quot;unload&amp;quot; function in Assembly &lt;br&gt; class. &lt;br&gt; Somebody said AppDomain can do. but On CF, the AppDomain is not the same &lt;br&gt; with PC version. &lt;br&gt; So, What is the general way to load and unload a DLL on WM6 with C#?   We need to be able to reduce the size of a jpeg file. Our captures images &lt;br&gt; then prints an image to a Bluetooth printer. With the latest pdas we can do &lt;br&gt; 3 megs images but the printer fails on anything larger than 2 meg. So we &lt;br&gt; take one image at 2 meg for printing. One step forward two steps back. &lt;br&gt; Any help appreciated.

  Johnson, &lt;br&gt; You can use SQL Server Management Studio to view query plans for SqlCe. &lt;br&gt; Probably you need SSMS 2005 since the version you need depends on the &lt;br&gt; version of the SqlCe database you&#39;re working with.

  Hello, &lt;br&gt; I started a project (Win Mobile 6, MFC) with NAME1. &lt;br&gt; Then I wanted to change the name of the Appl to NAME2 &lt;br&gt; (not the name of the whole project and the project-files). &lt;br&gt; In the settings I could change the name of the exe-file - ok. &lt;br&gt; Then I changed the name in the String table, the AFX_IDS_APP_TILE.

  This DLL is required on your Pocket PC if you are to run the &amp;quot;debuggee&amp;quot; on your target device. eMbedded Visual C++ 4.0 used to download these files for you, but somewhere along the line this feature stopped working (at least for me). A work around is to find mfcce300d.dll and olece300d.dll on your development machine and copy them to the Windows directory on your Pocket PC. Once installed, you will be able to run the debuggee on your target Pocket PC, and debug revisions as well

  Hi &lt;br&gt; I have an application that uses a stream via HttpWebRequest. &lt;br&gt; When I want to exit, I use the abort() method. It takes too long time (about &lt;br&gt; 45 seconds). &lt;br&gt; As far as I understand, there is a bug in the CF.
