Hallo
Zuerst: Bin ich da in der richtigen NG? Ich habe keine für Windows 7
gefunden.
Jetzt die Frage: Ich möchte Windows 7 auf einem alten PC installieren, damit
ich mich mit Windows 7 vertraut machen kann. Der hat einen ADM-K6 3D
Celeron-Processor mit 333 MHz. Gekauf habe ich den 1999. Kann ich da die
64-Bit-Version nehmen oder muss es die 32-Bit-Version sein? Wenn ich Windows
7 gut finde, möchte ich es auf meinen neueren PC mit Pentium(R) 4 CPU, 1.6
GHz 512 RAM installieren. Kann ich das mit der gleichen CD machen oder gibt
das Registrierungsprobleme?

Da wird weder die 32 noch die 64bit laufen.
Mind. 1 GHz CPU, 1 GB-RAM, 16 GB HD für die 32bit Version.

Gerüchten zufolge soll sich Win7 auch mit 512 MB RAM
installieren lassen. Nur ob man da vernünftig arbeiten kann, steht
auf einem anderen Blatt.

Das wird nicht funktionieren. Ein 10 Jahre alter Rechner ist zu alt. Da war
64Bit für normale PCs glaube ich noch gar nicht erfunden.

Die (meist viel zu gering angegebenen) Minimalanforderungen liegen bei 1GHz
und 512MB RAM.

Hallo Alfred,
das finde ich aber äußerst beunruhigend! Lässt Microsoft die Windows
7-Benutzer da im Regen stehen, oder wird es etwas Adäquates geben??? Das
dürfte wohl allgemein interessieren!

Es war schon mehrfach hier die Rede davon, das Microsoft
wohl eher auf Foren setzt als auf Newsgroups.
Und so wie es ausschaut, Win7 ist draußen und keine NG da,
wird das wohl so bleiben!
