I have considered it (im actually looking into it now). The problem is that
we have some clients sending messages via legacy tcp (and some listening

Anyone know where the project / solution templates for BizTalk go?
For non-BizTalk solutions they go under \Visual Studio 2005\Templates
\ProjectTemplates. I have my BizTalk templates there now (.zip
files), but I'd really like if they showed up on the BizTalk Projects
section of VS. Maybe I need to change something in my .vstemplate

Yeah I have experience with using this. It really extends BizTalk and
takes it out of the pure EAI realm into the ESB space.
It is by no means a full blown ESB with all the features that some of
the pure ESB vendors offer; but it is a good solid framework that
gives you 80% of what you need allowing you to build and tailor the

Have you considered using WCF-Tcp instead of a custom adapter assuming
you're running on 2006 R2 that is.

My BizTalk host instance is occasionally recycling with the familiar
"Out of memory or loss of database connectivity" error.
Specifically, Event ID 5410

An error occurred that requires the BizTalk service to terminate. The

CAn someone point me to a commercial or mature biztalk TCP adapter? I've
tried out the open source one Codeplex, but have experienced more problems
than i can handle in a production enviroment. Any help is appreciated.

Wow that's great! I always knew that had to be possible, I just got
so busy I couldn't take the time to make it work myself. I'm very
pleased by this because I don't like creating a new SP just to call
other SPs anyway. Thank you for letting me know this works!

I can't think of this answer off the top of my head, but I know you
could just use XslTransform or Compiled Transform it is these days
from within a pipeline component. That component would just access
the message body stream and return a new message (the output of the
transform). I think I do remember reading on what you want to do

hmmm. Can you test your Business Rule within the composer to insure that
the problem occurs within the call to the business rule?
Also, can you give insight as to what the business rule does?
You might want to create a simple rule that takes a message and changes the
value of one property then returns the message. That will help you isolate

Here's what I did
So I have 4 SP's , one for general workorder-data using for xml auto, one
for BOM-data(repeating info) using for xml auto , one for routinginfo (also
repeating) using for xml auto and one that exec's the first three. (no xml
auto)
From biztalk I call number 4 using whatever params needed , and responsenode

Well , I've tried doing the same thing for the response in the way I used
for the request...= manually copy-paste the different resultnodes into one.
I do get everything back in one message but.......as several bodyparts...
So I can't use it for mapping or stuff like that...
Do you now a way around this, or how to easy put the different bodyparts

would like to know which message context property can be used in the scenario.
I am currently using an orchestration and I would like to know which message
context property can be used.
MLLP adapter is used in this scenario.
