  I would agree with your self assessment. &amp;lt;smile&amp;gt; &lt;br&gt; Access and SQL Server both have replication as part of their feature &lt;br&gt; set. Sharepoint has some offline table stuff it can do. Not sure &lt;br&gt; exactly how similar that is to replication but it&#39;s getting close I &lt;br&gt; think. &lt;br&gt; I don&#39;t know. &lt;br&gt; No. &lt;br&gt; SharePoint is aimed at a different set of users than Access or SQL

  If you set the number to 0, *CLOSE THE DATABASE* and reopen it, and then set &lt;br&gt; it back, it should expunge the list. This may be version dependent though!

Via an &lt;br&gt; ADSL connection and a VPN I just pulled in a transactions form with &lt;br&gt; the first 25 or so transactions displayed on the Access form in under &lt;br&gt; a second.
