I would agree with your self assessment. <smile>
Access and SQL Server both have replication as part of their feature
set. Sharepoint has some offline table stuff it can do. Not sure
exactly how similar that is to replication but it's getting close I
think.

Hi Guys,
Everything has been working fine since I got the solution to how to disable
the CLOSE button of Access through this forum.
Now however, I found that I get the error message: INVALID PROCEDURE CALL OR
ARGUMENT when I run the application on Access 2007.

If you set the number to 0, *CLOSE THE DATABASE* and reopen it, and then set
it back, it should expunge the list. This may be version dependent though!

That's reasonable but you don't have to be a fanatic about it. Via an
ADSL connection and a VPN I just pulled in a transactions form with
the first 25 or so transactions displayed on the Access form in under

A client recently upsized their database to SQL Server. The main

Using the OpenQuery method to execute a query you do not need to include the
View or DataMode arguments. Simply:
DoCmd.OpenQuery stDocName
will be enough.
Also in your query your are examining the PrintME columns for values of True

Thanks for the input!
To clarify my line of questioning: I am mostly interested in some
different views on what point is best to deal with the dreaded null
value (or data validation in general). Can anyone think of any reason
that the handling of the null should be handled in the code of the
input/editing form itself?
