Thanks Dan. It would seem to me that good documentation of this
process would help a lot of RoR types break free of a strict reliance on Rails helpers. It is likely to be a common bitch now that the RoR core team is letting InPlaceEditor and AutoCompleter helpers languish while Scriptaculous and Prototype march on.
