Dear Brothers and Sisters of SoG,

Hope you are all well, and apology for the long delay in producing this newsletter, due to the editor being completing snowed under with various commitments.  But here we are, and it's good to be back.

Well we have chosen today to publish the latest newsletter because, as you may remember, it was exactly one year ago that SoG held its "Forgiveness - Road to Enduring Peace" Evangelisation Concert.  That was a memorable day.  In the past 12 months, the Chinese Catholic Community in London have been working hard to find ways to enrich our prayer life, in the form of Praise & Worship prayer meetings, so that we may draw strength from the Holy Spirit and to prepare ourselves spiritually to take on the enormous Christian mission of bearing witness to the Lord to the non-Christian world.  We also joined the St. Patrick's Evangelisation School in their missionary efforts on a few occasions and we gained some valuable experience from our brothers and sisters from SPES.  SoG is still in its infancy, and there are still lots to learn and lots to develop, and it needs a lot of grace from the Lord to keep growing and to bear fruit one day.  Please continue to pray for SoG and we would also love to hear from you, whether it is to share with us your pearls of wisdom, or just to say hello.

A new feature on this Community Room is the new "SoG Prayer Room" - it is displayed in the form of a permanent post at the top of the post list.  As an online community, we hope to create a forum whereby all of us members of SoG can support each other through prayer and bring forth any prayer intention, and invite the whole community to pray with us.  All you have to do to post your prayer intention is to click into that post and click "reply" at the bottom.  We look forward to sharing our prayers with you.

The Wednesday Praise & Worship meeting is still being held at St. Patrick's every Wednesday 7.00-8.00 p.m.  However, the group have now moved into the small chapel in the basement.  As you arrive at St. Patrick's an enter the entrance leading down to the basement, just follow the signpost and you will find us.  We hope to see you there.

Praise & Worship Sunday will be taking a break in March so that we may focus on our preparation for the Holy Week and Easter.  The next Praise & Worship Sunday, therefore, will be on 27th April 2008, at 4.00-5.00 p.m.

We celebrate Mass in Cantonese and Mandarin every Sunday at St. Patrick's Church, Soho.  Mass time is 2.15 p.m. and afterwards we gather for tea and social mingling, as well as bible sharing and prayers.  The London Chinese Catholic Community warmly invites you to come and join us.

親愛的「福音之籽」兄弟姊妹們：

你們好。編者首先就新一期通訊延遲出版致歉，因編者上月實在太忙碌了。 很高興又可以恢復運作。

為「福音之籽」來說，今天是個很有紀念性的日子。想各位必定記得，就在一年前的三月十日，我們在倫敦舉行了「寬恕 ─ 和平之路」福傳音樂會，從而為「福音之籽」─ 英國本地華人天主教福傳運動揭開了序幕。這一年來，我們倫敦的教友在致力學習並豐富我們的祈禱生活，並定期舉行「讚頌、敬拜」祈禱聚會，希望藉聖神的帶領，為日後的福傳工作作好心靈上的準備。我們有時候也參與我們堂區「聖伯德福傳學校」的一些活動，從中汲取經驗。「福音之籽」目前還在萌芽的階段，還有很多要學習發展的地方，更需要天主的恩寵，讓我們的福傳工作能開花結果。「福音之籽」極需要各位兄弟姊妹的祈禱和支持。我們很希望在這聚會室裏收到您的消息，告訴我們您的近況，或分享您的信仰經驗和心得。

「福音之籽」在聚會室這裏，新增設了一個「祈禱室」，是以一個永久留言項目的方式設置。這是為讓我們「福音之籽」兄弟姊妹們彼此代禱、互相支持而設立的空間。各位兄弟姊妹們，可在這裏提出您的祈禱意向，並請整個「福音之籽」網上團體為您祈禱。方法很簡單，只需將您的祈禱意向，在「祈禱室」留言下方，點擊[reply]，以回應方式貼上即可。

逢星期三晚 7.00-8.00 的「讚頌、敬拜」祈禱聚會，照常在 St. Patrick's Soho 舉行，但是聚會已移師到地牢的小聖堂舉行。當您來到聖堂，進入地牢後，可跟據沿途的指示，找到我們。

本月的主日 「讚頌、敬拜」，由於要預備聖週及復活節禮儀，將暫停一次。下次主日 「讚頌、敬拜」將於四月二十七日下午 4:00-5:00 舉行。
