These ideas are listed by Section, and then alphabetically, not necessarily by order of importance. LMS CoachesAdvertisments / Publicity / Printed Materials — a page for showing LMS produced publicity Characteristics — Features of the 3 periods of LMS Coaches, with informative illustrations: Liveries; Stones ventilators. Database — A possible long term project to include literary references, and possibly references to archive material. Would need a lot of aforethought about all the different types of information before starting this one. Diagrams — A page listing the diagrams, with coach types. Not to duplicate info in books. Facilities — A summary of LMS Carriage construction, overhaul and maintenance facilities and equipment. Numbers — A listing of the running numbers, cross referenced to previous and future numbers, and to diagrams. Preserved carriages summary — Tabulation of the 3 periods and various types, listing all known preserved LMS Coaches and linking to railway/society pages and to VCT carriage database. Could do similar table for scrapped carriages, and may provide a useful starting point for a larger database. Wagons — C&W also made wagons, so would like at least a little on the goods stock. Carriage PreservationCarriage Components — The anatomy of typical and unusual railway coaches Facilities — A summary of what modern restoration facilities and equipment are like, and a spotlight on what may be the ideal setup. Howtos — Signwriting lettering and lining / Stencil lettering. Materials — The different woods, metals, fabrics, screws etc... used in preservation and restoration. Tools — May crossover with facilities for larger tools or workshop machinery. Wagon Components — In a similar manner as for carriages, but starting with common components and expanding to the different wagon types. Links DirectorySuggest — a page with a form for people to easily suggest relevant or useful links. OtherPhoto Gallery — Wikipedia Article — Would be nice to get a good overview page on Wikipedia
