I wrote this comment on knol help page.
Knol help has concentrated on broadcast of knol technical features and
general guidelines related to writing knols till now. There is more
stability in technical features now.
The need now for the success and growth of the knol platform is for
New Authors, New Knols, Content Quality, Knol Marketing. A weekly
communication from knol platform on these four issues will be useful
to activate appropriate actions from authors.
If required, knol authors willing to participate actively in promoting
these activities can be enlisted in groups and knol help can interact
with them through group emails. A more active communication on the
performance and shortcomings in these four areas can help knol authors
to come out with initiatives that help knol to grow at a rapid pace.
