Hi,    My name is Bridget ,  My great uncle JAMES JOSEPH SMITH died at Snowdown pit at the age of 16yrs in 1926,

  as a result of his death there was so im told a plaque erected in his honour with his name on just by the entrance

doors in to the pit .   If any body can tell me any more info on this i would be very gratefull.  I look forward to hearing
