Subject: Caddick/Gamble/Howard
Dear Sir/Madam,

Just wondering if there is anybody who would know of a John Caddick, or
George Gamble or a Dorothy Howard, they used to live in Aylesham in the late
1930s when their parents worked in the mine, my mother Gladys Allton has
fond memories of their friendship, her father played in the band and we have
found photos via the Snowdon band of today.
Any news at all would be greatly appreciated, and mum has lots of memories
of Aylesham and Dover.

Yours faithfully,

Rosemary Childs at wallychi...@ntlworld.com

This message was passed onto me on the grapevine!  After talking to my
dad,John Caddick, The john caddick you mentioned was his uncle who he
was named after. My grandad was george Caddick.  his parents were
William john adrian caddick and edith may mokes. they also had a son
William and Tom  and a daughter Molly ?I know their father was killed
in the 2nd world war on sturry road leaving his wife edith. The family
lived at Broadoak near sturry at some point. i would be very
interested in any stories you have as i know liitle about them and am
very interested in my family tree.
