Hi folks,
Sunday afternoon and I'm thinking!!!!
Dangerous I know but what the heck!

Anyway my thoughts over the last few weeks have been about prayer. What is prayer, and how well am I doing with it. If I start with the latter then I'd have to say not very well.
Anyway the reason I am posting (mod feel free to delete if this is not appropriate) is I thought I'd start a debate but not an argument about prayer. I've been reading a number of books on the subject, including Joyce Meyer's book "The power of simple prayer" and I am currently reading "The Papa prayer" by Larry Crabb. Both of these books are really interesting and I am finding them very helpful, however I wonder what others think. Is this sort of book helpful or do you find that they make you feel inadequate or guilty?
