Anybody going ou tho Haraki for the last week of the season? If so,
say hello to....Jack, Paula, Steve, Costa & Elainie, Siffy, Manny,
Lou, Maria and anyone else I have'nt mentioned. We'll see 'em all next

Been talking to a couple of friends who usually go to Haraki with us
about booking for next year. They're not bothering with booking early,
they'll prob'ly book flights and just turn up or phone a coupla days
in advance Their reasoning is they can't see the present situation
changing much and it should be easy enough to get accomodation just

After having a great 10 days I came back last night to find we are in
full Autumn mode. I wish I was sat on my balcony above Zoggy's as on
Friday it was 40 degrees at this time. Many thanks to Vasilli and
Marrietta, Paula and Jack, Athena and Mike and all of my friends in
Haraki for making it such a wonderful time.

Last year went 'independant' and stayed at Da Vinci.

It seems that Jenel Apartments and Olympic have parted company. People
who have booked a holiday with Olympic at Jenel are receiving letters
from Olympic saying that the contract with Jenel apartments has been
cancelled. Olympic appear to be offering alternative accommodation at
Alia.

I'm hearing that the owners of Jenel will be offering their apartments

Hi Pavlos, its good to hear you have asked the people who's dogs are barking throughout the night, we stayed at Alia One the first two weeks in September and as stated in previous e-mails we had a great time there and you and your parents were very welcoming, I am glad some of the locals are trying to deal with the barking dogs as this is the only problem we had, I know your little dog and she was lovely and followed us everywhere, I hope she's well. It was a lovely sight to see them playing on the beach but if what Karen is saying is true about the poison on the beach I would be careful.

I agree with barry regarding the pitbulls and illegal dog fights etc, I'm not so sure its the 'greek elders' that are doing the dirty deeds, we've heard numerous rumours regarding one man doing the 'culling' just hope I never come face to face with him. I'm hoping the cross breed lab that was mentioned in the earlier e-mail was Yarna which belongs to Pavlos from Alia because she's a lovely dog with a great temprement.

Having just returned to UK, I feel that I must say a few words about

During a normal day/night in Haraki you can easily get involved in

We used to go to Alcudia in Majorca quite a lot. Some of the locals
used to say the only reason they tolerated so many cats was 'cos they
tend to keep the cockroachs down. After the season finished they were

I've had a good look round for flights to Rhodes for next year. Too
expensive just now so I'll wait awhile. Viking Airways if I remember
correct is connected to Kiss which is run by a guy who jumped ship
when XL went bust and they've only got a few planes so I'll leave that
one alone. There'll be some cheaper ones along later.

up a taxi at airport. I don't need a car for the full 10 days I'm

Mainly the poisoning of cats and dogs.

Haraki is moderately busy this week. Not so many on the beach maybe,
but the bars and tavernas seem to be doing a reasonably healthy trade
and I'm guessing most of the accommodation is close to full. The
atmosphere is great. The weather is lovely; mid to high twenties, just
as we like it. A ten minute thunderstorm this morning cleared the air

Well, that's another tour of duty successfully completed. When I
landed in Doncaster the sun was shining. Most unusual. They all say
