Back from Haraki last night. A couple of days into the visit we had an
electrical problem on the main cable feeding the house where our
apartment is. To cut a long story short it blew up a lot of kit in the
apartment including an expensive aircon unit and, amongst other
things, the charger for my laptop.

The supply company fixed the fault but weren't interested in all the
kit that it had destroyed.

I managed to find a few transformers so got the broadband working
again, but couldn't find a charger for the laptop. So I just had the
charge that was remaining in the laptop before we had the problem and
had to use it sparingly to eek it out to the end of the holiday -
hence no posts on this Group.

I'll come back with a bit more info about the visit when I get a mo.
