hi,ya does anyone in the group have any knowledge of ALIA 2 CHEERS JUNE

Alia 2 are a bit nearer the sea front  than Alia 1. In fact about 30 seconds away. Nice clean rooms apparently. All facilities at Alia 1 are available for Alia 2 users. Right opposite Da Vinnci's restaurant. You don't get much nearer the restaurants and bars without actually being on the front. Supermarket about 50 yards across the road. Very nice rooms from what I hear.It's a square building so there's verhandas all around.

Can recommend them so long as you are okay with the stairs...  The empty
"retail" unit below is very high so for first-floor apartments they are a
bit more of a climb than usual.

Having said that...  They are clean, bright, well kept and a good size
(assuming that you know what to expect in Greece).

The largest one (on the left as you look at building from main road) has the
addition of a double bedroom with wardrobe at the back to go with the twin
bedded room at the front that you will find in all of the others....  Though
of course there is the usual supplement to pay for any under-occupancy.

The corner room (far right) has the bonus of TWO balconies!!  One
over-looking the main road and one to the back of the church and Giorgios
shop if you know it...  so if you are lucky enough to get it (as two friends
of mine were last year) the choice of sun or shade is yours throughout most
of the day.

I've stayed there three times in two different rooms and have no complaints
whatsoever...  and it's good entertainment sitting on the balcony watching
all the comings and goings at any time of day.
