As you all know, one of the goals for Habari 0.7 is to implement
taxonomy. One aspect of this is implementing tags as terms in a tags
vocabulary. We've been working on this in a branch. It now seems to be
at a usable state, so the changes were merged into trunk in r3829 and

I'm late to the game but have questions about plugin versioning. It
seems these definitions have changed over the months/years and still
contains confusion, and parts are being discussed now. So, while I am
_not_ proposing anything here, I'm hoping to help clarify the current

Regarding my point #2, if I remember correctly I didn't need to deactivate
it, simply correct the permissions, navigate to the plugins page in admin
and then click the activate button alongside the hibari content silo entry.

My original idea for this was to use hook/API function signatures for
compatibility. So rather than having a single feature identifier to
represent a number of things, you'd add a bunch of hashes for the
entrypoints your plugin used within Habari.

Sorry i can't really answer your questions, but if it's not in the
wiki, it probably doesn't exist. If you can catch michaeltwofish, he's

I meant that for some plugins there is no, and will never be a 0.6-compatible version (highligher, for example, needs 0.7 functionality).

Hello all,

A couple of questions:

1. Is there a list of API changes with 0.6->0.7? Like for plugins, no
more info() and the XML file changed but I'm assuming more. I'm mainly
concerned with plugins. And I ran into one API break from (I assume
0.5) in FormUI, like add()->append().

2. Is there a requirements API? Like, if a plugin requires a PHP

There's no official place for individual plugin documentation. what
show's up in help, or the readme file if the author includes it, is
all there is right now.

Unfortunately, how well the Habari silo works seems to differ from
server to server. For some people, it works out of the box and they
