The only option is to delete the old e-mail address, and "Add Members
Directly" to add them back. It's unfortunate that we can't edit their
e-mail addresses (and nicknames, while we're at it).

Can this be fixed?

I agree. It's the one google application that needs the most work,
even more than Wave ATM. Prioritizing Goog Groups and wave right now
would actually be a good idea, as those two combined makes for a group
document real-time editor whose functionality would be better than
anything else combined, ever. Open up Google Groups to the developers,

you're looking for a really subtle change... maybe it would be better
to keep the same user experience across all of the Google Apps and
just go with something like: "Your message has been sent.", with
options to undo (from Gmail) or just real-time functionality so you

I agree with Aldo, it seems this functionality is all that we have for
the moment. I would assume you're looking more for integration with
the group itself, not thread-like Google calendars that people can
reply to, but access to calendars from the groups front page, sharing
and chatting on events in the calendar both in the event and as a

The note "Your message will appear in [a GoogleGroup] momentarily" is
really irritating. In the interest of transatlantic understandability,
could someone change "momentarily" to "in a moment" please?

I'm a member of at least 15 Google Groups in the computer,
statistical, science and technology areas.

It was once pleasant to be able to read postings and so easy to search
for topics of interest to either learn or contribute.

I would estimate a ratio of above 10 spam per one honest
posting.throughout al the groups of interest to me
