BUG - SOMETHING MISBEHAVING

Dear,
i added and invited a bhanusamaj {of which i am owner} group to share
this calender and given permission "Make changes AND manage sharing"
and surprisingly it sent me an email in Indonesian language..! also in
same language it is posted in groups also {bhanusamaj group} now the
tragedy is that its difficult to read and understand...

manage members > banned> i didnt see a single entry of banned members.

now i had given permission to this person > [email address] as
manager in settings management task> manage members > managers> here

If you analyze the URLs of the different subdiscussions of this forum,
you can notice that more than with a division in the Discussions,
they've been achieved
gluing together in a kind of supergroup six different groups.
Considering that a Google account can create no more than 5
groups......maybe such a feature is not so easy to apply to all users

Hello,

I'm used to manage many groups, ans a tool that i miss in googlegroups
is a vote / opinion / pool tool that only members of the group can
vote in a limited time window and in the end of this window i have the
results of the votation.

Its a simple tool, the moderator can create a serie of options,

The only thing keeping my group from migrating to Google Groups from
Yahoo Groups is the lack of a dedicated, in-group calendar. Are there
any plans to incorporate the calendar into the groups?

Why to delete? Room in Discussions is unlimited. And almost nobody is
truly reading the older posts, even if they're accessible from About
this group archive.

There has to be an option to remove a thread of posts or the whole
discussion.
I have a lot of outdated posts in my group.
It is so frustrating to delete one post at a time.

While I was making this post a single spammer made 8 posts in sci.math
in a 3 minute period, each of which contained over a dozen urls. Maybe
what can be flagged is not urls per se, rather a metric like urls per
hour. I can't imagine a valid poster ever needing more than a dozen
urls in a single hour, maybe a dozen urls (and/or use of the word

Agreed that it is getting critical. sci.math and comp.lang.c are also
snowed under by spam nowadays

The link triggers moderation idea strikes me as overkill. Maybe a data
base of bad urls can be assembled, perhaps with the aid of the
seemingly worthless "report message as spam" button.

We have a process for sign-up for membership. If the 'one block'
isn't answered. We decline. Is there a means of you inserting a
place that 'prompts' for an answer so we don't miss out on members or
give the impression that we're 'exclusive'?
