Subject: Adding Google Document Functionality to Google Groups
I like the Google Docs functionality with versioning and checking out
documents. I would like to see this functionality added to the Google
Groups, instead of just uploading files.

In the meantime, I think you could use the new feature described in:
http://googleblog.blogspot.com/2009/08/sharing-with-google-groups.html

Shortly, it's allowing to add the group mail address as an authorized
member in your Docs, and consequently your group members will have the
ability of seeing and editing your Docs files.

Hope this helps
Aldo
