On a Cingular 8125 and I assume others this is how you make it work:
First use the Bluetooth manager to pair up your GPS unit with the
phone.

Find a registry editor and install it. I use Total Commander,
http://www.ghisler.com/pocketpc.htm
Follow the registry path described here unhide the GPS function in
your Main Menu / Settings (Tab-System)
http://blogs.msdn.com/windowsmobile/archive/2006/06/07/620387.aspx
Hint: You must wait about 1 minute after you make the registry change
before you reset the phone. Most WM5 systems use a write cache for the
registry. If your GPS function is not shown, go to the registry path
described above and see if it is back. If the value you deleted has
returned, then you must wait longer before resetting the phone.
Now go to the GPS icon in your Main Menu / Settings (Tab-System) and
set the Program Comm port to Com1. Click on the Hardware tab and set
the Com port to the com port used by your Bluetooth GPS unit.
Done
Warning! Messing with the registry should only be done by people who
are comfortable doing it. If you are new to making registry changes,
BACK UP YOUR DATA!!!
