I know this has been asked and vaguely answered before. I installed
Google maps through BES to all the BBs on my system. Only one user,
and many have the same device, complains of this issue. He has an
8703e, and he gets "this application requires a data connection" when
he tries to access Google Maps. He has the same plan as everyone else
and can browse the internet and receive email. I have tried pulling
his battery, uninstalling, changing his Software configuration to none
and then back to the Google Maps app. I also tried looking at the
application's permissions, but they are set to allow. Nothing works
and I have not seen a solid solution thus far. Anyone who has the
answer, please help us.
