What happened to my Desktop Search Box? 
  Before this morning, when I hit control twice, I got this brownish- black search box that gave me the choice of searching the desktop or the web. Now I get this silvery search box that only lets me search the web. What gives? How do I get my old Desktop search box?

  I recently installed Google desktop to my HP xw 4600 workstation. I had all sorts of problems initially with the indexing of files. One-time index does not work 
  Hi, I have a problem on rebuild index on my windows XP. I have uninstall previous installation completely including index file. then I have install new GDS, 5.9.0911.03589-en-pb on my box. Google Reader Gadget: send to is missing 
  If I'd like to share a feed via twitter, I have to add in my settings (send to section) the twitter service. This is done. Now from Google reader (web) I see I have now the send to and twitter shows up. However in the desktop gadget I cannot see the send to. is this in purpose or it's a bug?
