I'm using logmein to access a work computer from home.  My email
address to log in contains the letter "g".  When I type the g, it
automatically jumps to the google search bar on the bottom of my
screen ,and types the "g" there.  I cannot complete the log in because
of this.   A "google alien"  has taken over my computer!
What do I do?

Try to check if you computer is spyware free. It can be that a spyware
software is running.

Well, I stopped Google Desktop, the problem went away. Rebooted,
restarted Google Desktop and the problem has not recurred. So my
problem solved (at least for now).
