I have the same issue. My new laptop stuck in 12% for 4-5 days already
with GDS. I have to install Windows Desktop search since I have 40+GB
of documents needs to find info on.
Windows Desktop search 4.0 support "force indexing" instead of waiting
for the "idle". I have to use that for now, since GDS refuse to
continue the index.
I think WDS support indexing the "Mounted" drive better too. I have
issue with GDS indexing the Mounted disk in another system.
I think Google should implement such features.
