Subject: Turn off "CTRL-ALT-G" shortcut?
I have another program that uses the 'CTRL-ALT-G' shortcut so I'd like
to turn that off for selecting Google Desktop. How do I do that?

David

I had same issue.
I found solution (see below), and it works for me! 8)

Thanks for your feedback; we're sorry about any conflicts with the
Google Desktop hot keys. We are working to fix this in the near future
but for now you can disable one or both of the hot keys through the
registry.

In "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Google\Google Desktop\Preferences"
create a DWORD value named "hot_key_flags".
Setting this value to:
- "0" disables both Ctrl-Alt-G and Windows-G
- "1" disables Windows-G, but leaves Ctrl-Alt-G enabled
- "2" disables Ctrl-Alt-G, but leaves Windows-G enabled
- Removing the key or setting the value to "3" or higher will enable
both keys.

You must restart Google Desktop for this change to take effect. Sorry
for this inconvenience and thanks for your feedback.
