Hey folks,
It's been busy over here, as our team has been hard at work on some
new features and fixes for you guys. Big thanks to everyone who left
us feedback, told us the new things you wanted to see, and also let us
know what wasn't working in Calendar. Without further ado, here's
what's new:
- Don't like to get reminded for events you haven't responded to yet?
In your calendar Settings, you now have the option restrict reminders
for invitations - check it out!
- If you're like me, you might find yourself quickly organizing your
calendar, and you'll accidentally delete an event...oops! If you've
also felt this pain, you'll be eager to learn more about one of my
favorite new features: undo! http://www.google.com/support/calendar/bin/answer.py?answer=126305
- Gone are the days when you had to go back and forth between guests
and Calendar to edit event details. Now you can allow guests to modify
your event– check out more information here:

- Many of you love the fact that you're able to email guests about an
event based on their RSVP status, but you didn't love that their email
addresses no longer displayed when you clicked "Email Guests." Now you
have the best of both worlds: email by RSVP status AND see your
guests' addresses in one place.
- If you've scheduled an event and all of your guests declined, you'll
now see a new event icon (a little person with a line drawn through)
to let you know. Never again be the one left hanging :)
- Some of you have said that event titles looked a little cluttered in
Day and Week view – especially if you've got a ton of events. To help
resolve this, we've taken out the AM tag, and we shortened the PM tag
to just P.
- For all the CalDAV users who were experiencing issues with multiple
requests for your password to login, I'm glad to report that the
problem should now be resolved. There's need to download an update –
the change should be live in your iCal right now. Big thanks to
everyone who reported this issue – your feedback was a huge help in
getting this one resolved.
See you all in the forum!
