How to Submit a Patch to the SDK

To submit a patch to the SDK

1. Before submitting the patch, you must sign a contributor license agreement. The CLA protects you and us.

  • If you are an individual writing original source code and you're sure you own the intellectual property, then you'll need to sign an individual CLA.
  • If you work for a company that wants to allow you to contribute your work, then you'll need to sign a corporate CLA

Follow either of the two links above to access the appropriate CLA and instructions for how to sign and return it.

2. Locate or Create a bug for the issue you wish to patch
3. Post the code for the patch in the issue

4. When the version of the SDK is with your accepted patch is released, we'll mark the issue as Patch-Fixed

If we choose not to integrate your code, we will mark the issue as Patch-Declined

Does step #2 indicate that I should paste the patch inline in the
issue body, or that I should attach it as a file? Thanks.
