Deleting indexes...

Hi
I know there has been some talk in the group recently about deleting
entities, but I think we should also be able to delete indexes that
are no longer needed (a simple button on the indexes page would
suffice).
I think that indexes are taking up a lot of space in my app.

Though convenience is bad
I think that slot that can be used by this method increases.

Thanks for the replies. I am using the Java SDK. I have replaced
String.contains(searchstring) with Text.getValue().Contains(searc hstring)
I am able to upload data just fine (strings exceeding 500 characters) but
when I try to view the data App Engine gives me a exception on my data class

Thank you very much for the link to that link to the bug report. I
added my issue to that. I'll also have a look at the profiling thing,
but that's a bit of a longer-term option.
Any other people seeing weird results with remote api full iterations
over a key column?

In My Applications page, I have 8 applications remaining, but I see only one
application (that I created after this problem), ie, exist one application
that I can't see.

Hi Julian,
But when I was trying to create my application, I clicked in the button
"check Availlability" and this id was available. The id was created for me,
despite the error during the application's creation.
Anyway, I think that the Google's guys can check the id's owner (me!) and,
maybe, delete the id. But I don't know who I can talk.

Python, using command-line tools and some custom Rake tasks for
management. GVim or MacVim with ctags for editing. I've used PyDev/
Eclipse for some projects.
Next year we may adopt Hadoop for analytics so I'll probably bite the
bullet and move to Eclipse to get everything under one roof.

Maybe you got an error precisely because the id was unavailable.
A quick google search returns 2 results for artezel - at - gmail
App Engine namespace is shared with other google applications like
gmail.
