  I&#39;m trying to find the tile of a series of books I read as a kid in &lt;br&gt; the 1970s. &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;They were fore-runners of graphic novels in which the reader chose the &lt;br&gt; path the hero would take on each page -- in the style of the Choose &lt;br&gt; Your Adventure series that came later -- then flip to the right page &lt;br&gt; for that option.

  Don&#39;t forget that if your library holds the Guardian (or yesterday&#39;s &lt;br&gt; Observer) to nab the rather nice reproductions of British comics &lt;br&gt; before somebody else does. Yesterday&#39;s was the 2000th Beano from 1981 &lt;br&gt; and today&#39;s the &amp;quot;Roy Shot&amp;quot; issue of Roy of the Rovers. &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;We&#39;ve got the Dandy and Bunty to come apparently.

  Hi all, &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;I&#39;m curious as to your opinions of a senior high school pupil choosing &lt;br&gt; &#39;Watchmen&#39; as their Higher English Personal Study text. &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;It is likely that the pupil would have a tougher job than his peers as &lt;br&gt; he would be investigating visuals as well as text, but I think &lt;br&gt; &#39;Watchmen&#39; is has so much to recommend it.
