Subject: Vampire:The Eternal Struggle (formerly Jyhad) - 17th Nov
Greetings all,

I have been involved in CCG games for 13 - 14 years and at the shop
for the last month or so. At the shop I have been particularly
involved in The Spoils and now I hope to stir up some interest in
another excellent CCG - Vampire:The Eternal Struggle (V:TES).

This is an old CCG, its been around for 13 years and was probably the
second CCG produced, right after Magic. It differs from pretty much
all the other commonly available CCGs in that it is intended as a
multiplayer game - with a game usually including 4 or (preferably) 5
players.

A second difference from some of the more expensive CCGs is that it
has no card rotation - every card ever printed is available for play
in tournament legal decks (so there's no danger of your old cards
being useless or your new ones becoming useless in the near future).

The game complexity and artwork are intended for a slightly more
mature player - comparable to Magic or The Spoils.

If we get enough support (ie 4 - 8 people) I will apply for the
position of Prince (the White Wolf area organizer) and we will be able
to sanction tournaments and get some prize support.

The shop already carries V:TES stock on the CCG shelves - so you can
get or add cards right away.

~~~~~~
I have asked Mike to schedule a 'tester' event for 11am on Saturday
17th November at the shop where we hope to run an unsanctioned
constructed deck tournament. Failing that I will have some sample
decks there and can run some demo games.
As Vampire is multiplayer, and quite involved, a game (or tournament
round) tends to last 2 hours and the event is scheduled to run from
11am till 5pm.
Gray (Joe)
