Agreed and it is done. The initial settings had been that people
could only post if they'd joined the group, but that clearly wasn't
enough to stem the spam, as we've had a steady trickle of nuisance
posts ever since :-(.
I've just changed things so that new members have to have their first
post moderated, but that "old hands" like you won't. Hopefully this
will block the spammers without being _too_ annoying for new folks who
want to post questions, etc.
