  Daren &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;I have tracked it to the fact that I do not have service pack1 for my &lt;br&gt; copy of XP and now MS won&#39;t let me load SP1 as my copy of XP will not &lt;br&gt; verify as it belongs to another computer. &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;Only way out of this seems to be to buy another copy of XP :( &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;Richard Burston &lt;br&gt; rich...@ashridgefarm.co.uk

  I believe that a drive can only be mounted once, either the Mac can &lt;br&gt; mount it or Windows can mount it, but not both. I believe there is a &lt;br&gt; setting to choose which OS (primary or guest) gets to mount disks &lt;br&gt; first, within the VMWare preferences. Sorry I am nowhere near my Mac &lt;br&gt; so I can&#39;t say where the setting is.

Since, however, I&#39;ve nothing to &lt;br&gt; hide from the security services, and since Al Quaeda almost certainly &lt;br&gt; use Windows machines, do I absolutely have to have passwords? I object &lt;br&gt; to a machine telling me what to do; it&#39;s surely against the natural &lt;br&gt; order of things.
